Yes - if you have DNA data from 23andMe, Ancestry, Atlas Biomed, Family Tree DNA, iGene, MyHeritage, Living DNA or Vitagene, we can use it. Please purchase our DNA Upload service from the Store on fitnessgenes.com

No – We test for the same genetic variations regardless of which system you purchase. You will receive the same DNA Analysis, genetically-driven trait results, insights and actions with every product.

The four Genetic Workout Systems place an emphasis on different fitness goals. For example, the Build Muscle System puts more emphasis on resistance training to maximise muscle gains. By contrast, the Lose Weight System focusses more on reducing body fat. All systems promote muscle gains and fat loss, but the focus differs across systems. Please look at our Plan Advisor to help you choose a system, based on your experience level and goal. To access the Plan Advisor, please visit our Products Page and click "Find Your Plan".

All of our systems include DNA analysis, access to genetically-driven traits on TrueFeed, and tailored training and nutrition plans. If you would like any further advice, please contact us at: support@fitnessgenes.com.

Yes - however, you need to have had your DNA analyzed first, as all of our plans are tailored to our customers’ genetic results. To purchase a training plan, please go to my.fitnessgenes.com and click on the 'Workout&Nutrition' tab, then click 'All Plans' and select the plan of your choice.

We currently accept US Dollars (USD), Pound Sterling (GBP), Canadian Dollars (CAD), Australian Dollars (AUS), Euros (EUR), and United Arab Emirates dirham (AED). Our website will automatically detect the country in which you are based and offer the most appropriate currency.

We use Stripe and PayPal. Both allow customers to choose from a range of different payment choices (e.g. credit card, debit card, existing PayPal balance), while providing very high levels of security.

Yes. Our purchasing and DNA analysis processes are separate in order to facilitate this.

When you (the purchaser) receive the DNA sample collection kit, you can then give it to the lucky gift recipient. As long as that person (the gift recipient) registers the barcode in an account they have created, everything will work as normal.

If you purchase a workout / training plan or DNA Upload service, then you (the purchaser) will receive an email containing an activation code. This needs to be forwarded to the gift recipient / person who will be using our service.

If the purchased product included a workout / training plan, then the purchaser will receive an email containing a plan activation code. This email/code needs to be forwarded to the person who will be using our service.

Yes, and we may be able to offer a discount on a bulk purchase.

If purchasing for 2 - 3 people, we recommend that you make multiple individual orders, using the appropriate email address in each order. The unique barcodes on the sample collection kits, any activation codes, and any postage tracking details are then matched to the relevant order.

Some health insurers/plans may cover the costs of our DNA analysis and/or nutrition and workout plans. Policies vary depending on insurance provider and the terms and conditions of a plan. Customers are advised to check with their provider before claiming any costs..

Our bulk purchase discount is applied to any orders of five or more DNA analysis kits or Genetic Workout Systems. The percentage discount that you receive will be volume dependent, and payment for bulk purchase orders are issued by PayPal invoice. Please email support@fitnessgenes.com stating your required quantity of each product and our team will process your order.

No - once you have received your FitnessGenes genetic results, whether through the DNA analysis alone or as part of a Genetic Workout System, there is no need to purchase additional tests. Your DNA sequence is fixed for life, so any additional DNA analysis will yield the same results. We use your original results to build your plans, including any additional progression plans you choose to purchase. Individual plans can be purchased from your members area or at fitnessgenes.com/all-products/all-plans

Yes – by purchasing a 'Complete' Genetic Workout System, you will receive one DNA analysis kit and both the 'Starter' and 'Progression' workout plans. For example, Get Fit Complete includes both the 'Starter' and 'Keep Fit' workout plans. The only exception to this is the Build Muscle Workout system, where all Systems (Hero, Legend and Prophecy) include their own individual plan.

Shipping

We can deliver to PO Box addresses within the UK, Europe, USA, Australia, and New Zealand.

For deliveries elsewhere in the world, we usually deliver using a signed for courier service. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses using this service.

If you do not have an alternative address, please contact us at support@fitnessgenes.com and we can organise alternative arrangements. Please note that we are unable to provide a tracking number when posting via standard post outside of the UK, USA, or Canada.

We are pleased to be able to support members of the forces and we can ship to military bases. Please note, however, that shipping to APO addresses may sometimes take longer than to other locations.

We ship to almost every country in the world from our distribution centres. Regrettably, we cannot currently sell / ship to Russia, China or Korea. This is because either: we cannot guarantee the safe arrival of your sample collection tube, or; you are likely to experience difficulty posting your sample back to us.

There are also a small number of countries that require us to work with the customer to complete some additional paperwork. In these cases, we'll be in touch shortly after you have ordered.

For customers in the UK, USA, Europe and Australia, please allow up to 7 days for delivery. For customers in the rest of the world, please allow up to 10 days for delivery.

If your kit has not arrived after this period, please contact us at support@fitnessgenes.com and we will investigate further. In the event your kit has been lost in the post, we will replace it free of charge.

Your sample should be returned to us using the original mailing box.

USA, Canadian and UK Customers

Customers within the USA, Canada and UK can return the sample free of charge, using the free returns label on the box. Simply place the sealed box in a post box and it will be sent to our laboratory. You will receive an email from us once your sample has reached us.

Rest of World Customers

If you live outside the USA, Canada, and the UK, we recommend that you return your sample using your country's standard postal service. This will be significantly cheaper than using a courier (e.g. FedEx, UPS) and your sample will reach our lab in a similar amount of time.

In the unlikely event that your sample does not reach us, we will cancel that barcode and reissue a new kit.

IMPORTANT – If you need to complete a customs form, you may be asked to give a content description and a customs value. We recommend using the content description: “Exempt human specimen — saliva sample” and the customs value: “No commercial value".

If you are required to enter a value above zero, then please put down: “$1”.

“No commercial value” or “$1” is the value of the used sample collection kit, and not the price that you paid for the analysis and recommendations we provide. If you use another value (e.g. the retail price) on the form, the UK government will incorrectly levy an import tax, which unfortunately we will need to invoice you for before we can receive and analyze your sample.

For customers in the US, UK and Canada, return postage is free of charge. Simply use the pre-paid return label or Freepost label (for UK customers) included with the kit.
