Job Description: Content Manager
This is an opportunity for a results-driven and creative Content Specialist to join FitnessGenes. You will be responsible for developing high-value content assets that attract, engage and convert our target audiences (B2B and B2C) across multiple channels.
You will work closely with the CMO/CRO to translate strategic direction into compelling content that supports lead generation, customer acquisition and retention.
This is a hands-on execution role requiring strong copywriting skills, content planning ability, and creative ownership.

Salary: £45,000 (pro-rata for part-time)

Copywriting and content creation:
Write and edit marketing copy for email campaigns, website pages, landing pages and social media
Develop lead magnets, guides, and educational resources
Craft direct-response campaigns across email and digital channels
Content strategy and planning
Create and manage the content calendar aligned to strategic marketing goals
Develop multi-channel content plans across email, web, and social
Repurpose long-form content into high-performing micro-content assets
Performance and optimisation
Track content KPIs and engagement metrics
Analyse performance data to refine messaging and improve results
Create reports on campaign and content effectiveness
Video and multimedia coordination
Coordinate video production
Collaborate with outsourced videographers and editors
Support basic video editing where required
Research and insight
Monitor competitor content activity
Monitor industry trends to identify content opportunities
Email marketing content
Write and structure email marketing campaigns, sequences and newsletters
Develop promotional and nurture campaigns
Social media and digital content
Create and publish engaging social media content
Monitor engagement and adjust messaging accordingly
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
Essential:
Exceptional copywriting skills with demonstrable portfolio
Strong understanding of content marketing and direct response principles
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple content streams
Understanding of digital analytics and performance tracking
Creative thinking combined with commercial awareness
Highly self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
Coachable and open to feedback
Desirable:
Experience working within the health/fitness/wellness sector
Experience creating accurate, evidence based scientific content in genetics, health and fitness, translating complex research into clear and accessible copy
