Resting heart rate, VO₂ max and body composition sharpen how each trait applies to you.

Cholesterol, glucose, inflammation and hormone panels add a real-time layer to your genetic risk.

How you train, sleep and recover tunes every recommendation to how you actually live.

Existing conditions and diagnoses refine which actions are safe and relevant for you.

Diet, activity, stress and environment frame your results so guidance fits your day-to-day.
This is a real FitnessGenes trait report. Every one of your 180+ reports follows the same structure — your result, the science behind it, and the actions that follow.
Your genetic score is associated with mildly elevated Lp(a) levels.
Lipoproteins are particles that transport cholesterol in the bloodstream. You've probably heard of LDL — the "pro-atherogenic" particles that penetrate artery linings, deposit cholesterol and form fatty plaques. This process, atherosclerosis, is why high LDL raises the risk of cardiovascular diseases like heart attack and stroke.
A lesser-known particle that is even more pro-atherogenic than LDL is lipoprotein (a), or Lp(a) — estimated to be around 6× more pro-atherogenic per particle, and an established risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Lp(a) levels can vary up to 1,000-fold between individuals, and 75–95% of that variance is genetic. This trait shows whether you carry gene variants that elevate your Lp(a) and increase your cardiovascular risk.
Consult a clinician about getting your Lp(a) and other lipid levels checked
Schedule a consultation with our partner, Thrive Doctor, to understand what your result means. Insight into your current lipid markers gives a more accurate assessment of your cardiovascular risk.

Regular intake of flaxseeds has been shown to induce modest reductions (up to 4 mg/dL) in Lp(a) levels.
Your genetic score is associated with mildly elevated Lp(a) levels.
